Until Thursday, the U.S. Government has never publicly acknowledged the existence of Area 51 - a remote place in the Nevada desert, which has been associated with theories of conspiracy, extraterrestrial sightings, and small spaceships.
However, a recently declassified CIA which was written in 1992, document shows a map marked with the name of the parcel of land at distance, 75 miles from Las Vegas, which is used to test and develop top-secret military States projects United, including U-2 spy the plane.

It remains a mystery. I argue that the Atomic Energy Commission was doing programs out there that requires a much higher level of security control and programs had a much higher degree of classification.

¿Do you people think that Area 51 hosted alien spacecraft?
Much of this was due to the program of U-2 planes that began in Area 51 in 1955. The U-2 aircraft were widely used by the United States during the cold war for reconnaissance missions. They flew at an altitude of 60,000 feet (18 metres) - significantly higher than any other aircraft that existed at that time.
As soon as they began test flights, people wrote letters to their members already their mayors who say: "I saw a UFO." But what they saw was the plane U-2 spy.
